A few years ago, my friend Aurora told me about this great little snack/appetizer/dinner/lunch...you get the idea. You can have it for whatever! I sometimes make this with a great big salad and we have it for dinner. It takes all of about 5 minutes to prepare and they are always a big hit!
~~~
Pepperoni Roll Ups
Crescent Rolls
Pepperoni
String Cheese
Ranch/Marinara Sauce
(You can make as many or as few as you like.)
Separate the crescent rolls into triangles. Place 4-5 pepperonis on each triangle and top with half a string cheese. Roll up and bring up sides to seal. (Sorry about my gross looking cookie sheet...it is clearly time for a new one!)
Oh my! Yumminess! I think my boys would LOVE this meal! They love all three of those ingredients individually, put together I think they would be in heaven! Thanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteYes, Hudson gobbles these up!
ReplyDeleteOh, I must try these! I "think" even my non-bread eating Maggie might like them.
ReplyDeleteMMMMM!
Hudson didn't eat bread for the longest time either!!! He does now, but still not a ton. So weird!
ReplyDeleteMy husband absolutely LOVED this dish. So yummy- and I loved how quick it was! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYea...so glad you enjoyed them! :)
ReplyDeleteFound this on Pinterest and I am giddy (though sad -- I'll explain the sad). I have teenagers. One is a 13 year old playing football. Oh, stars, I cannot feed that kid enough. I am giddy that I found these -- he could totally do this whole deal himself. Sad, because he could blow through an entire roll of crescent rolls himself after school. Every. Day. I'll go broke! :-)
ReplyDeleteLOVE this. I have three boys who will absolutely gobble them up. It's a rainy, dreary day here so I'm thinking this is the perfect after school snack. They always come home STARVING! Totally love that this uses stuff I always have around the house anyway. Do you mind if I post this on my blog? I'll be sure to give complete credit and a linkback to you. http://www.brendawritesablog.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteYay Sarah & Brenda...so glad your boys will like these! :) Brenda...I don't mind a bit if you put it on your blog!
ReplyDeleteI made these this past week and my kids loved them! I added pizza sauce inside the crescent roll. They were a huge hit!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea of adding the pizza sauce...I will definitely have to try that! :)
I found this on Pinterest and knew I had to try them! Luckily I was on my way to the grocery store! I buy pepperoni and string cheese all the time and eat them together. My roll-ups are in the oven right now and I can't wait to try them! I even bought salad mix at the grocery store so I am going to go through a yummy salad together too!! Thank you so much and you have a new follower! I will be trying many of your recipes!
ReplyDeletePizza Equipment
I need Pizza Equipment for Apple Pizza. any one can help me?
I made these using Bisquick biscuit dough and rolling it out really thin. Turned out great! Also I used shredded mozzarella. It made it a bit more tricky. But I think they turned out excellent! Thanks for the awesome idea :D
ReplyDeleteI found this on pinterest and made them over the weekend. They were sooo good and simple to make. I lightened it up a little bit by using reduced fat crescent rolls and turkey pepperoni, still very yummy! Thanks for the great recipe!
ReplyDeleteYummy!! these are so good and so easy!!
Made these for dinner tonight as part of our regular pizza Friday and loved them. Easy to make and really tasty. We will definitely make them again!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have any thoughts about putting these in a school lunch? Do you think they would be good cold?
ReplyDeleteHmm...not sure how good they would be cold. My husband loves cold pizza, and would probably eat these up cold too, but not sure if my son would! If you try them, let me know! :)
