This is a recipe that I adapted from a Paula Deen recipe because I didn't have all of the ingredients she called for. It is now my absolute favorite sandwich to eat at home...SO EASY and delish!

Dena's Salad Wraps!
(Eyeball the ingredients based on how many people you are making these for. The pictures show ingredients for 2 wraps...one regular size and one MAN size!)
Lettuce, chopped
Tomatoes, chopped
1 Avacado, chopped
5-6 slices of turkey, chopped
2 slices of Colby-Jack cheese, cut into squares
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Ranch dressing to taste
Flour tortillas or my favorite...Mission Sun Dried Tomato Basil Wraps
In a medium bowl, place lettuce, tomato, cheese, turkey, avacado, and bacon.
I eat a similar version of this at least 3 times a week on multi grain wraps! Love it! Way better than a boring sandwich! By the way, I made the chicken salad this morning and LOVED it!!!
ReplyDeleteOoo...I'd love to know how you make yours!! I agree...I can't eat regular sandwhiches at home. So glad you liked the chicken salad...yea!
ReplyDeleteI did end up trying a salad wrap this way this week and loved it! Here's how I do mine: I usually put turkey meat slices, shredded cheese, avocadoes, lettuce, craisins, strawberries( if I have them) and a little ranch drizzed on top of multi grain flat out wraps and roll it up and there you have it. Sometimes I use sliced chicken breast, lettuce, strawberries, craisins and poppyseed dressing. Yummo!
ReplyDeleteYum...sounds great...I'll have to try that. Thanks!
